The
Philadelphia Firearms Tracking Initiative
Summary
The purpose of this project was to develop a GIS decision-support application
for tracking the purchase, use and recovery of firearms in Philadelphia. In
the process of creating this application, this project also supported GIS
development in the Philadelphia Police Department and the Federal Bureau of
Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.
