A theme that Penn's Graduate School of Fine Arts stresses to its student body is one of educational unity between the fields of architecture, landscape architecture, fine arts, city planning, and historic preservation. As a student within such a dynamic and easily accessible framework, I have worked toward finding unique opportunities to creatively work with my surrounding students. The Tierra Sajama studio has been just one of those opportunities.
Coming from an undergraduate background in Historic Preservation, I am interested in the protection, management, and education of cultural landmarks and landscapes. My planning interest is to help communities establish a link to their cultural histories so that they can strengthen and
direct their future growth.
