Well I guess I was driven to the studio by its original title, "The Sacred Geography of the Inka," and by a picture of the lines on the landscape. It was a great challenge to study not only the remains of an older civilization, but also a cultural landscape that has been transformed throughout the years, even to the present day. I hope that our project can add one more layer to the landscape with respect to the sacred pathways.
